Tiny Treasures Tuesday!

... in which I babble about my kids :)

I have no idea why I had this weird, completely unfounded idea that my boys would be just like each other. About the only thing they have in common is their gender and their button noses. From there, they are wildly unique from one another. It's been a year since we grew from a family of 3 to a clan of 4, and my husband and I never go a day without exchanging looks and smiles at how the little boys contribute their own flavors of crazy to our household.

Gabriel is monstrously loud. As in, we can even hear him breathing across the hall while he sleeps at night. // Eli is sneaky quiet. He's incognito! One of the top 5 things said in reference to him is, "Um.... Do you know where Eli is and what he's doing?"

Fear fills Gabriel's heart at the sound of my or Daddy's voice when he knows he's doing something wrong. He'll immediately stop what he's doing and freeze. It's so sad to see the terror in his face :) // Our voices are Eli's cue to hurry up and finish what he's doing, or do as much damage as possible before we arrive on the scene.

Gabriel is a lover. He snuggles. He clasps your arm when he sits beside you. Sometimes he'll even say, "Awwwwwwww!" while he hugs you. // Eli must be snatched for a squeeze. Unless he's sleepy or has a boo-boo, he WILL try to wriggle out of your hold. His favorite physical contact with me is to slap his tiny hands against my face.

The list could have you scrolling for hours. But we love them just the same (A LOT) and have so much fun being their parents (when we're not tearing our hair out :) Who knows how the dynamics will change when Noah is here?!
