1. After my husband got home from work today, I fell asleep. Fabulous man that he is, he did the dishes I'd left in the sink AND made dinner. I love him.
2. Now he's reclined on the couch opposite mine watching.... Fiddler on the Roof. 15 minutes ago, he was thrilled to see they were airing the Reds/Brewers game, then aghast at how his beloved Reds were getting creamed. So now he's watching Fiddler on the Roof. I am perplexed, but I will say nothing.
3. I didn't realize how often Ben and I acknowledge aloud how adorable our 1-year-old is until Gabriel joined in on it a month or so ago. Whenever I bring Eli down from his bedroom after a nap, Gabriel greets his little brother exuberantly by squishing his feet and yelling, "Eli cute!" Sometimes, he'll slip it randomly into conversations.
Me: "Gabriel, do you want some more milk?"
Gabriel: "Mama... Eli cute."
There you have it, my friends. Eli is cute.
4. Husband is now asleep. I guess Fiddler on the Roof wasn't doing much for him.
5. On Tuesday, I will be 32 weeks pregnant. Being 8 months pregnant flips the I'm-done-being-pregnant switch in my brain. I've started visualizing labor techniques, imagining what his face is going to look like, and mentally compiling my hospital packing list. Of course, the humidity here in glorious Georgia doesn't help my patience (as I write this, it's at 80%!)
6. I had to buy cleaning products today. Doing so makes me very, very happy. I almost feel that in purchasing them, in having them sit in my backseat in store bags, I have actually already accomplished the cleaning itself. Weird, I know.
7. Uh-oh. Adorable Eli has gotten his adorable self stuck behind the entertainment center again. Adorable, sneaky child of mine, I am coming to rescue you!

Wow - your hubby deserves your love for sure! How sweet of him! And I feel for your summer o' gestation. I get really crabby when I'm too hot and sweaty, so if pregnancy were added to that, I'm sure I'd be miserable. Oh, and impossible to live with :)
